How do recordings and transcription work?
You record audio in the app. When you run AI processing, audio (or data derived from it) is sent to secure cloud services to produce a transcript and optional summary. Accuracy depends on microphone quality, distance from speakers, background noise, and the language you select. Always review AI output before relying on it for legal, medical, or financial decisions.
What does Premium include?
Premium removes the free tier’s daily cap on AI transcription + summary runs, lifts the per-recording time limit, and processes long files in full (free may only AI-process the beginning of very long recordings). It also uses a faster OpenAI speech-to-text tier for transcription, unlocks lossless / full audio quality options, optional sentiment and detected languages in AI output, plus dark mode and the cloud sync toggle in Settings. Price and trial are shown on Google Play before you buy.
How do subscriptions and trials work?
Trials and renewals are handled by Google Play under your Google account. Open the Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions to view, change, or cancel. Awal does not receive your full card number for Play purchases.
Why does transcription need the internet?
AI transcription and summarization run on cloud infrastructure so they can use large speech and language models. A stable connection improves reliability and speed.
