1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using our application or websites (including www.awal-ai.com), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
We provide voice recording, transcription, summarization, and related features as described in the app and app store listing. Features may change; we may add, modify, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice where required by law or app store rules.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information where registration is required. You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. You must comply with applicable laws and third-party terms (including Google Play).
4. Subscriptions and payments
Paid features may be offered via in-app purchase. Pricing, billing cycles, and trials are shown at purchase through the app store. Renewals and cancellations are managed through your app store account. Refunds are subject to Google Play policies unless otherwise required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights;
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service;
- Upload malware or interfere with other users’ use;
- Record people without consent where required by law.
6. Your content
You retain rights in content you create. You grant us a license to host, process, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service (including AI processing). You represent you have the rights needed to submit your content.
7. AI disclaimer
AI-generated transcripts and summaries may be inaccurate or incomplete. The service is not professional, medical, or legal advice. You are responsible for how you use outputs.
8. Third-party services
The app may integrate third-party services (including cloud AI and analytics). Their terms and privacy notices may also apply.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where allowed.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.
